Workers at Bakio beach in northern Spain prepare
to clear fuel oil February 5, 2003.

'Crown Resources', the metals and energy trader,
is suing the owners of the Bahamanian-flagged
Prestige tanker which sank off the coast of Spain in
November.

The Swiss-based company had chartered the Prestige to carry 77,000 tonnes of fuel oil which is now spilling on to French and Spanish beaches.
